How we handle data

01 — Who we are

CREAMAN is a creative direction studio based between London and Paris. For the purposes of data protection law, CREAMAN is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

02 — What we collect

We may collect and process the following categories of data:

Contact details you choose to send, such as your name, email address, company name, and message.

Business correspondence if you contact us directly by email or through a contact form.

Limited technical information that may be collected automatically by our website host or service providers, such as IP address, browser type, device information, and server logs.

Analytics or cookie-related data, only if such tools are enabled on the site.

03 — How we use your data

We use personal data only where it is relevant to running the studio and the website responsibly.

To respond to enquiries and communicate about potential or ongoing projects.

To manage business relationships and related administration.

To operate, maintain, and secure the website.

To understand site performance and improve the experience, where analytics tools are used.

To comply with legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory obligations where necessary.

04 — Lawful bases

Depending on the context, we rely on one or more of the following lawful bases:

Legitimate interests, for example when replying to professional enquiries or operating the site securely.

Steps prior to entering into a contract, or performance of a contract, where a project enquiry leads to commercial discussions or work.

Legal obligation, where we must retain or disclose information for accounting, tax, or compliance reasons.

Consent, where this is specifically requested, for example in relation to optional cookies or mailing list sign-ups.

05 — Sharing

We do not sell personal data.

We may share personal data only where reasonably necessary, including with hosting providers, website infrastructure providers, analytics providers if enabled, and professional advisers such as accountants or legal advisers where required.

Information may also be disclosed where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

06 — Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.

Enquiry emails and correspondence may be kept for as long as needed to respond, follow up, and maintain an appropriate record of business communications.

Project-related records may be retained for longer where required for contractual, accounting, tax, or legal purposes.

Technical logs are usually retained only for a limited period, subject to the practices of our hosting and infrastructure providers.

07 — International transfers

Some of the service providers we use may process data outside the UK or EEA. Where this happens, we seek to ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, such as adequacy decisions or approved contractual protections.

08 — Your rights

Depending on your location and the circumstances, you may have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to, or request portability of your personal data.

Where processing is based on consent, you may also withdraw that consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, contact manuel.arquier@creaman.fr.

09 — Cookies

This website may use essential technical cookies required for the site to function. If analytics or additional cookies are enabled, this policy and any cookie notice should be updated accordingly.

10 — Complaints and contact

If you have questions about this policy or the way your personal data is handled, please contact manuel.arquier@creaman.fr.

If you are not satisfied, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority, including the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
